How do I place a custom order?

To place an order you can call, email, or stop by the bakery.

When do I need to have a cake order placed?

We require a minimum of 3 days for a basic cake. As always, the more time the better. For custom cakes  we suggest: 2-3 weeks for Birthdays, and 1 month for Weddings.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum for our regular menu options. For custom cupcakes or pastries, the minimum is one dozen.

Do you have cakes and desserts available for purchase in the store?

Yes, we stock our refrigerated pastry case with fresh desserts every day. We would love to see you today!

Do you offer gluten, vegan, or dairy free options?

We offer a variety of gluten free options, including our delicious macarons. However, none of our products can be guaranteed as allergen-free. All of our baked goods are baked fresh on the premises with the use of nuts, flour (gluten) and dairy. We are very careful in our production process to avoid cross contamination. At this time we do not offer vegan or dairy free options.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit, debit cards, and cash. Checks are not accepted.

When do you require payment?

Payment is required when you place your cake order.

Do you deliver?

Yes, with a delivery charge to the Boise metropolitan area.

Do you rent cake stands and display pieces?

Yes, all stands and display pieces must be returned the following business day.

Do you offer set-up at my event?

Not at this time.

Can I get more than one cake flavor or does it all have to be the same?

Yes, you can multiple flavors.

Why are your prices higher than the grocery stores?

At Love Cakes everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients and no preservatives. This along with small batches and custom handmade decorations contribute to cost.

How do I request a charitable donation?

Giving back to the community and supporting local charity organizations is very important to us as business owners. Unfortunately, given the number of requests we receive we are not able to contribute to every cause. You can email us a request. Please include your name, charity, date & time of event, and what type of donation you are interested in. No phone or faxed requests will be considered.
